The Department of Human Services is accepting applications for assistance that covers the cost of primary heating bills and primary heating fuel for households with a heating emergency. Applications are accepted through March 15. Apply online at www.commonhelp.virginia.gov, pick up an application from any Norfolk Department of Human Services location, or call 664-6035 to have one mailed to you.
